Understand quotes and wallet reservations
Available funds differ from the total wallet balance.
Prepare
A quote describes the work and its maximum authorized amount. Review it after the project is prepared. Editing the project may require another quote; a previous quote should not silently authorize a changed scope.
Work through the decision
Starting a charged operation reserves funds so simultaneous requests cannot spend the same balance. The available balance subtracts those reservations. A pending run may therefore reduce available funds before a final debit appears.
Review the result
Confirmed delivery settles the charge within its authorization. A definitive failure releases the reservation. A connection error can leave the result uncertain, so reconciliation checks the backend receipt before releasing funds.
